Mission
ANEW is a holistic education and community center dedicated to plant-based living, permaculture, Kundalini Bodywork, and conscious ways of living in relationship with nature.
We create a space for short- and long-term stays, retreats, training, and community exchange, supporting people who want to reconnect with themselves, with each other, and with the living world around them. Through nature-based design, thoughtful systems, and practical independence, ANEW offers a grounded setting for healing, learning, and transformation.
Our Aims
ANEW is a living, evolving community and ecovillage.
Its purpose is not to remain fixed, but to stay responsive — to the people, the land, and the unfolding path ahead. We aim to create a place that is spacious, grounded, and alive with possibility, where guests, students, and community members can experience renewal, connection, and inspiration.
We welcome past and current students of Kundalini Bodywork, along with guests who feel called to stay, learn, or contribute. ANEW is designed to support deep rest, meaningful exchange, and the kind of environment where healing and growth can happen naturally.
Our aims may evolve as ANEW evolves.
ANEW works closely with the local village by hiring as many people as possible directly from the community. We are also investing in local education through weekly permaculture gardening lessons for our construction workers, and through education in green building, beekeeping, and recycling for the children. At present, our contribution at this level remains modest, and we hope to expand it in a practical and sustainable way.
We also do our best to integrate respectfully with local religious life, supporting community ceremonies and activities wherever we can. In addition, we keep our site and gardens open to local people so they can harvest what they need. Our staff are also welcome to borrow tools and equipment as needed.

ANEW is also a proactive agent in transitioning from the old economy as we create the new.
Ideally, we would drop out of this old matrix completely, and simply move into a 5th dimensional experience of life that allows us to drop out of linear time and financial constraints. As correct and fabulous as this may sound from, it’s entirely unachievable and more of the dream of an LSD trip. So where do we find the middle ground.
While we honour the vision of living beyond outdated systems, we are also committed to finding the practical middle ground. In collaboration with local people, we are developing ethical businesses that support a regenerative form of green capitalism, where social values, fairness, and community wellbeing are embedded into independent enterprise. We welcome social entrepreneurs, regenerative founders, and green capitalists who want to help shape new forms of consumerism, art, and commerce as we move toward greater sovereignty, abundance, and community.
